It is already super hot and humid in OK and I know it is only going to get worse!!! I cannot wait to get to go to California soon where there is a beach and not the crazy humidity.
Anyway, as much as I hate it my plants love it! I love that my begonias are starting to take off as well as the elephant ears, crape mertles and knock out roses. Yea!
Here are some shots of my "We love the Heat" plants.
The kids made bags of ice water and put it on their heads when they finished riding their bikes lol!
The same HEAT is sweltering down here too! LUCKY YOU to be heading to California. And to be able to go to OUT OF THE BLUE is a dream of mine. Will you be there during Mermaid Mercantile? Oh I hope so! Holly (one of the teachers at next months event) was in it last month & she said it was great. Where all & what all are you planning while there? Can't wait to hear. HAVE FUN & take lots of photos. And I am also excited about our time at the end of July up there in your neck of the woods. Charlene
ReplyDeleteOh, your gardens and plants are so beautiful! Yep, I'm afraid the old hot summertime is upon us! That's so cute about your little boys putting ice bags on their heads - that's a pretty good idea! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Your plants are so gorgeous...definitely lovin' the humid heat! Hope your Monday cools down a bit and you have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteAh we have broken records the last three days. 100 ... my plants aren't lovin' it. But since we froze last winter I said I wouldn't complain about the heat so I'm not complainin' I'm just sayin'. :)
ReplyDeleteYour plants do look like they love it.
