All By Myself!
I sewed this Amy Butler "Birdie Sling" bag without anyone showing me what to do yesterday! Yes I did use my seam ripper SEVERAL times but still pulled it off:) I read the pattern and figured it out! Yea me! lol!
(OK I did call Leslie twice but it was just for a little guidance. Thanks Natalie for teaching me this trick for disclaimers! ;)

You go girl! Great job! And don't worry - that's what seam rippers are for! You were only improving upon your work, right? Cute, cute, cute!
ReplyDeleteGood for you! It really turned out great!
ReplyDeleteYeah Shelley!
ReplyDeleteIt's so cute, love the material. I'm become an idiot when I have to read directions for sewing stuff and usually end up having my husband explaining it to me!

Shelley,
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job! I still am terrified of my machine! I really love the material you chose...so incredibly tasteful! Thank you for the nice comment you left on my blog. I sometimes feel like I am living my mother's life when I get together with those women. We are an odd and motley crew but we sure get a lot of support raising our kids. And, trust me, it is not over when they are twenty-one!
Hugs,
Suz
