Birdie Sling

All By Myself!

I sewed this Amy Butler "Birdie Sling" bag without anyone showing me what to do yesterday!  Yes I did use my seam ripper SEVERAL times but still pulled it off:)  I read the pattern and figured it out!  Yea me! lol!
(OK I did call Leslie twice but it was just for a little guidance.  Thanks Natalie for teaching me this trick for disclaimers! ;)

  13. Yeah Shelley!
It's so cute, love the material. I'm become an idiot when I have to read directions for sewing stuff and usually end up having my husband explaining it to me!

  14. Shelley,
You did a great job! I still am terrified of my machine! I really love the material you chose...so incredibly tasteful! Thank you for the nice comment you left on my blog. I sometimes feel like I am living my mother's life when I get together with those women. We are an odd and motley crew but we sure get a lot of support raising our kids. And, trust me, it is not over when they are twenty-one!
    Hugs,
    Suz
